Dr. John G. Orfanos, DDS, MD

Dr. Orfanos was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Development. He began his dental school education at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 2002. At Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH (one of the nations top universities), Dr. Orfanos completed a broad scope training program and acquired his Medical Doctorate as well as a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Orfanos joined the already respected OMSH practice and was able to contribute to the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His specific interests and expertise are in dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and sleep apnea.
In his free time, Dr. Orfanos enjoys playing golf, photography, cooking, working on his family’s ranch, and spending time with his wife and baby daughter. He is an avid sports fan, and besides following his Aggies, he looks forward to following Houston’s own sports teams again.

As is part of the OMSH tradition, Dr. Orfanos is held in high regard by his patients, his medical peers, his medical staff and the community.
