The Bayou City Study Club first promotes an unending commitment to education and scholarship. We enable our members to achieve their own commitment to lifelong learning and wisdom by offering unique and exciting AGD Pace accredited Continuing Education courses. By joining our club, you’ll have the opportunity to better yourself and your practice by learning from your peers and renowned dental speakers. We are proud to safely offer in-person lectures, accompanied by live-streamed Zoom lectures upon request.

Highlights

Each season from September to May, we host 10 meetings for our members Nine of them consist of a lecture from their BCSC members or distinguished speakers. The tenth and final meeting is our Member Appreciation Party where we celebrate the end of the year and revel the 
theme and calendar for the next season. You’ll find our 2021-2022 calendar below. Some highlights include:
  • In September, we’ll have our kick-off meeting where we’ll be treating our BCSC members and their spouses to dinner and a wellness lecture from Mike Cantrell. Mike Cantrell is known for his human kinetics and physical therapy work with the Postural Restoration Institute. Once a month, he travels to Houston and sees patients at Dr. Alice Lam’s office.
  • In January, we’ll have our annual combined meeting with Dr. Frishkey’s Knowledge Bank Study Club. American security analyst, author, and media personality Robert Siciliano will be speaking. He delivers presentations throughout the United States and Canada on identity theft protection and personal security, including self-defense.
  • In February, we’ll have Dr. Tito Norris from San Antonio speaking on airway issues, implant alternatives, and interdisciplinary dentistry. Dr. Norris works closely with Dr. Jeffrey Rouse of Spear Study Club and Seattle Study Club.
 

Seattle Study Club

The Seattle Study Club is a network of doctors that are invested in furthering their knowledge to provide excellent care to each and every patient that comes through their doors. Seattle Study Club is known for having over 260 clubs in the United States , Canada, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Trinidad, and Tobago.

Each club meets regularly for interactive educational programs, discussions on the latest developments in dentistry and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. These meetings assist in providing a forum for each member to discuss ans plan cases with the collective knowledge  of the entire group and more.
