Some dentists are advertising dental implants at a very low cost to the customer, but in reality are actually using mini dental implants. These implants are much smaller in diameter than the ones used for permanent restorations, and they are not medical grade titanium, which is the only material proven to integrate into your bone. While this type of dental implant does indeed have a place in the treatment of certain select conditions, they are not routinely used in our practice. We are able to use our surgical expertise and training to provide our patients with a more permanent and successful solution to their missing teeth. We staunchly believe that your long-term health is far too important to even remotely compromise by using short-term dental implants.
If you have any additional questions about mini dental implants, call 713-IMPLANT. We encourage you to speak with one of our experienced and dedicated Dental Implant Coordinators, and to schedule a consultation with one of our surgeons.
